| VAX-D Institute has outsourced its ITO and BPO operations to Omniscient. VAX-D Institute of Philadelphia, a leading Healthcare Service Provider in State of Pennsylvania. Omniscient will incrementally provide services to VAX-D starting with IT solutions and process automation and expanding in to other areas. As part of this effort Omniscient proposed application for Insurance claims processing. This application when fully functional would enable VAX-D to develop a digital packet ready for transfer to insurance company for claims processing. There will be a quantum reduction of cycle times for Claims processing and increase revenue generation. |

| This application would help centralize back office operations like billing, accounting, payments, Scheduling and also help securing patient records which is a federal mandate. Since VAX-D services are spread across the regions, this application would provide each center real-time access to patient data and schedules. |

| Phase I of the system is undergoing user trails. One of the important milestones achieved by Omniscient was to provide a real-time interface with insurance company’s system for submission of claims and obtaining payment status. |

| Application is being developed using zero footprint technology on Linux platform thus saving huge reoccurring cost on database and components licenses. The total project efforts estimation would be about 8,000 (approx) man hours and it will be completely designed and developed with in-house experts with onsite-offshore as development/delivery model. The Phase 1 of the project is due to complete by Dec 2006. |
